What is slowing the boat speed down?

The dirtier the boat bottom the more the boat speed is slowing down. The cause is mostly barnacles which cement themselves to the boat bottom and other surfaces and therefore causing more fraction. Therefore the boat speed is slowing down and the fuel consumption is increasing. Other dirt besides barnacles causes increased fuel consuption after midsummer.

You need at least one liter bottom paint (ca.15 €) for the boat.

What kind of boats can be washed with Mobiwash-washer?

The mobile Mobiwash-washer is able to wash keelless boats, which are not longer than 7 meters. The maximum weight is 1350 kg.

What kind of boats can be washed with Stark-washer?

There are several models of the floating Stark Boatwasher. Some models are made for keelless boats, but the biggest models are able wash big sailing boats also. The height of the keel can be even 2.5 meters and the width of the boat 4 meters. There is no weight limit for the boats, which are washed by the on water floating Stark Boatwasher.

Does the washer wash the bottom clear?

The brushes are rigid enough, so that slime, algae and oranisms are washed away, but bendy enough, that the coating of the boat does not damage. The brushes adjust themselves to the form of the boat, thus the brushes wash smooth and a large area at once. Special detergents are needed for grimy dirt.

Does the washer also remove barnacles?

Barnacles attach themselves to the boat after the larva stage. This happens normally at the end of July or at the beginning of August. The boat should be washed directly after that. The bigger the Barnacles grow, the more difficult is the removal.

What kind of car can pull the Mobiwash trailer?

The trailer is brakeless and weights 750 kg. The washertrailer does not need any van or four-wheel drive jeep for pulling, a normal lagre-sized car is strong enough for this purpose.
